§ 01A Buyers Alliance

§ 07How the Alliance Works

Four steps,
quietly engineered.

  1. 01

    Apply

Submit a brief application as a buyer or manufacturer. Review takes 2–5 business days.

  2. 02

    Vet

We verify qualifications, compliance documentation, and category fit before issuing access.

  3. 03

    Activate

Buyers gain catalog access. Suppliers wire their feed. Pricing becomes visible only to approved members.

  4. 04

    Operate

Order, confirm, ship, invoice — tracked end-to-end. Anomalies are flagged automatically.

§ 08Procurement Intelligence

Savings,
made visible.

Every order is benchmarked against MSRP and prior pricing. Buyers see savings on the line, on the invoice, and in monthly reports. Suppliers see demand by category and fill-rate trends without manual reporting.

§ 09Vetting & Compliance

Supplier integrity,
continuously verified.

Every supplier is reviewed for insurance, licensure, certifications, and product authenticity. Expirations are tracked. Documents are accessible to admin from the day they're issued to the day they lapse.

Initial Vetting

Insurance, business licenses, manufacturer affiliations, and product authenticity reviewed before activation.

Continuous Monitoring

Document expirations tracked automatically; suppliers are notified 60, 30, and 15 days ahead of expiry.

Catalog Integrity

Price spikes, missing data, and discontinued items are flagged the same hour they appear.

§ 10The Platform

One platform.
Three dashboards.

Buyers, manufacturers, and Meridian admin each see the same data through a lens shaped to their role.

Buyer

Search, order, track, invoice — with savings made visible on every line.

Manufacturer

Manage feed, confirm orders, ship, invoice, see demand by category.

Admin

Applications, alerts, feed health, supplier compliance, audit trail.

§ 11Automation

The platform watches itself.

  • Supplier feed health
  • Price-anomaly detection
  • Out-of-stock alerts
  • Discontinued products
  • Missing product images
  • Expiring supplier insurance
  • Failed orders & shipments
  • Payment failures
  • Security login anomalies
  • Open support tickets
  • Duplicate SKUs
  • Catalog overlap

§ 14Common Questions

Clarity,
up front.

Is Meridian a GPO?
Meridian operates as a modern buying alliance and procurement platform. Membership is by qualification, and pricing is contracted with vetted manufacturers rather than negotiated through a traditional GPO administrative-fee model.
Who is eligible to join?
Healthcare clinics, dental and OMS practices, ambulatory surgery centers, financial institutions, municipalities, nonprofits, commercial facilities, schools and community organizations, and independent hospitality operators.
Is pricing visible publicly?
No. All contracted pricing is visible only to approved members after admission. This protects supplier terms and member confidentiality alike.
How are suppliers vetted?
Each manufacturer is reviewed for insurance, licensure, certifications, distribution capability, product authenticity, and category fit before activation. Compliance documentation is then monitored continuously.
How long does onboarding take?
Buyer applications are reviewed within two to five business days. Supplier onboarding, including feed integration, typically completes within two to four weeks depending on data readiness.
